Hi, I'M Greg.
I live on a small farm in Ohio, complete with plenty of cool things to photograph from harvests to wildlife, and an ever-growing array of tools I've acquired from estate sales and auctions.
I started picking them up for blacksmithing and became more and more interested in their history and advancement. I also looked out for useful tools to have around the farm.
After completing a sustainable agriculture program and finding the farm, I became more interested in documenting the every day around here and also began sharing photos of tools in a Facebook group. From there, what started as a simple cataloguing of tools emerged into the art of creating masterful flat lays.
My love of photography began years before when I bought my first camera from a high school photography teacher. I took typical vacation shots and eventually started shooting local rock bands.
After starting an Instagram page a few years ago, a few friends convinced me that I should start selling prints, so... here I am. I hope you enjoy my work and well... I'd love it if you proved 'em right.

A Story of Emergence...
“My first print order had been delayed at least a week because of a mail holiday, but I was finally looking forward to it being Monday so that they would arrive. Then the dog started barking on a Sunday afternoon...and there they were. The prints arriving on a Sunday was odd enough, but had they not arrived, I wouldn't have noticed that this monarch had emerged.
It just so happened that I'd also been searching for a name for the business.
It was then Emergence Works came to life. ~GB”
